Abstract

This study investigates a virtual project team’s development stages by way of a quantitative indicator. Until recently, only qualitative approach has been explored to deal with this issue, as can be seen in the past literatures. In this study we based on the concept of social network analysis to develop the quantitative indicator. The indicator can help us identify the development stages from the team perspective. The findings are consistent with previous qualitative studies.
